Highly praised by the critics is the very popular German cartoon series: ‘Janoschs Traumstunde‘. The cartoons are based on the stories of the popular German children’s author Horst Eckert (known as Janosch). Between 1985 and 1989 they ran on German television. These are self-contained stories. Among them are popular characters from the children’s books of the author, such as Tiger and Bear.
Cartoons are an excellent way to learn German for children, as well as for adults. Basic knowledge of German is positive.
